Helped shape the enterprise AI operating model
Contribute to technology evaluation, adoption priorities, budget decisions, and internal AI initiatives through enterprise leadership forums.
As VP of Engineering at SKIMS, I lead Digital Technology across Web, Mobile, Middleware & Cloud, and Quality Engineering. Over the past three years, I have helped connect scalable platforms and enterprise AI adoption with measurable improvements in performance, efficiency, customer experience, and growth.

SKIMS has scaled through rapid product innovation, high-visibility launches, and expanding digital relationships with customers. My role spans Web, Mobile, Middleware & Cloud, and Quality Engineering, with accountability for engineering leadership, platform architecture, technology investment, and delivery.
Across the last three years, an essential part of that mandate has been helping the business adopt AI deliberately: creating practical systems, developing confidence through training, and ensuring spend translates into useful outcomes rather than disconnected experimentation.
Through the SKIMS AI Steering Committee and AI Board of Directors, I contribute to enterprise AI governance and adoption. I oversee AI budget, training, and internal AI-driven systems supporting more than 250 users across Claude, ChatGPT, and Parabola.
The goal has been to make AI useful, governed, and cost-effective—equipping people with repeatable tools and practical guidance while creating greater consistency in how the business deploys emerging technology.
Contribute to technology evaluation, adoption priorities, budget decisions, and internal AI initiatives through enterprise leadership forums.
Oversee training and internal tooling across Claude, ChatGPT, and Parabola, helping teams use AI in repeatable, practical workflows.
Used prompt-optimization training, reusable shared skills, and custom routing and automation to improve how AI resources are consumed and managed.
Supported more effective internal workflows through AI-enabled systems and automation, with a focus on quality, adoption, and responsible technology investment.
Adoption at organizational scale, supported by training, shared capabilities, and budget discipline.
I led the transformation of core middleware from a monolithic architecture to microservices. Critical systems were re-engineered to absorb extreme traffic bursts—from approximately 5,000 to more than 250,000 active sessions within 30 seconds—while maintaining global platform stability.
I also led the evolution of SKIMS.com on Shopify Hydrogen and delivered the Flutter mobile application—building modern digital channels alongside the middleware and cloud systems needed to support them.
We transformed web performance, bringing load times from approximately three seconds to under half a second and improving first-paint performance by more than 75%. These improvements helped create a faster, more reliable digital experience while the business continued to grow.
Reduced web load times through sustained platform and performance engineering work.
Prioritized customer-facing performance as a core engineering outcome.
Oversaw traffic forecasting, caching, monitoring, and engineering readiness for highly visible launches.
Over three years, I contributed to broader cross-functional work associated with more than 20% conversion growth alongside approximately 10% year-over-year traffic growth. These outcomes reflect the work of many teams, with technology playing an important enabling role.
I also helped build and scale the loyalty program from launch to more than 15 million customers. Over three years, that program contributed more than $500 million in revenue.
Contributed to cross-functional initiatives supporting conversion growth as traffic grew approximately 10% year over year.
Helped launch and scale a customer loyalty capability that contributed over $500M in revenue across three years.
I lead senior engineering leaders and teams across Web, Mobile, Middleware & Cloud, and Quality Engineering. My approach combines strong internal ownership with carefully chosen strategic vendors and contractors.
By investing in leadership, hiring, delivery practices, and internal engineering knowledge, I reduced reliance on external agencies and established a stronger foundation for sustained execution.
These capabilities work together: modern platforms enable faster iteration, reliable systems support commercial growth, and enterprise AI creates opportunities to improve how teams work across the business.
My work at SKIMS brings together enterprise AI governance, digital technology leadership, platform modernization, and customer experience performance. The results span how the organization works, how efficiently it invests, and how confidently its platforms operate at scale.
